Seussical, Jr. Auditions!

August 6 & 7th at The Pavilion at COTA
Come any time between 4pm and 6pm

All 3rd-12th graders are invited to attend.

No experience necessary.

Call-backs will be held on August 9th at 4pm sharp. You will be notified at auditions if you are requested at call-backs.

Show dates will be November 1-3 at the Fairhope Civic Center.

A delight for children to perform, SEUSSICAL is now one of the most-performed shows in America! In this fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza, Tony winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (LUCKY STIFF, MY FAVORITE YEAR, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, and RAGTIME) have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination—Jojo. “Oh, the Thinks You Can Think” captures the show’s spirit of imagination, as the colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos..

2012 Summer Camps Announced

We are pleased to announce our 2012 SUMMER CAMP selections! We have a great time every summer and would love for you to join us! This year we have options for rising 2nd-12th graders! Classes are held in two-week sessions. They are held Mondays-Fridays from 9am-12noon with a final performance on the last Friday of class at 11am. Performances are open and free to family, friends, and the public.

Session 1: Jungle Book KIDS—- SOLD OUT
June 4-15
Rising 2nd-9th graders
Come be a part of this Disney classic and we’ll have you jumping with jazz! Students will learn the basics of musical theatre while auditioning, learning, rehearsing, and performing a complete show. This camp is perfect for beginners and intermediate students.

Session 2: Musical Theatre Intensive
June 18-29
Rising 7th-12th graders
Students will work on improving and honing their craft with music, scripts, and dance specific to their ability level. We will work on auditioning skills. This will be an intense two-weeks based on improving and gaining new performance skills. Students will also explore other areas of the theatre, such as, writing, directing, and stage management. A showcase will be held on the final day of class. This camp is suggested for those students who have had stage experience and who are trying to reach the “next level” as performers.

Session 3: 101 Dalmatians KIDS—SOLD OUT
July 9-20
Rising 2nd-9th graders
Join the dogs of London as they daringly rescue the puppies from Cruella Deville! Students will learn the basics of musical theatre while auditioning, learning, rehearsing, and performing a complete show. This camp is perfect for beginners and intermediate students.
